November 2010

Baptism Invitations & Favor Boxes: Chloe Hope
On June 13, 2010 our dearest friend Jennifer Baptized her daughter Chloe Hope. And we were more than happy to create her invitations for her. She chose a paisley pattern in her signature Pink and matched it with the traditional Bon Bon box.

Baby Shower Invitation: Cayla Marie
Cayla came to us back in July of 2010, to do her Baby Shower Invitations. She liked a pre-existing design from Envelopments (our paper supplier) but we do not like to duplicate. So we used the same Envelopefold Enclosure and images like she wanted, but changed it up a bit.

Melissa & Michael's Wedding Invitation Suite & Coordinating AdditionalsIn the fall of 2009, Melissa and Michael came to us through a mutual friend. (Who we are currently designing invitations for) They not only needed Invitations for their 10/10/10 Wedding, but Menus for every table and the Escort Cards for their guests. This so far has been one of our biggest projects. Not because of the number of guests; but for the wonderful detail on every piece.

New work!

Hey Everyone, I know Its been a while since I posted any thing new but believe me its not due to a lack of work. I been kept quite busy and I just haven’t gotten around to photographing any of it. So thank you Michelle for taking control of that.

Baby Shower Invitations
A year ago in March, a client came to me for a double shower invite. She liked the one I did for my friend Annemarie's baby shower and asked if I could change it to suit the two ladies. One of the moms-to-be, knew what she was having, but the other wanted to keep it a surprise. So, the wording for the invite proved challenging, but we always make it work.

Birthday Invitation: Mia
Last summer, I designed a child’s 2nd birthday party with a fiesta theme. Rachel (the mom) chose not to have it matted and instead opted for a printed border effect. But I couldn’t resist the beautiful paisley design, so I photographed the matted sample.

Baby Announcement: Tanner Michael
Then in October the birth of my baby came, Tanner Michael; and I decided since the holidays were coming up, why not combine it with his announcement.

Danielle & Doug's Wedding Invitations & Programs:
Danielle came to me for invites for her April 2010 wedding. She described it as a beach wedding, with hanging Chinese lanterns, tulips and the colors of coral, green and ivory.
I gave her two slightly different samples. The one she chose was the green and ivory flat invite with a vellum band enclosure.

Baptism Invitations & Coordinates: Tanner Michael
The most recent project was another personal one. I designed my son's, Tanner Michael, Baptism invitations, escort cards and of course I couldn’t resist the coordinating favor boxes.

And right now I am currently working on an October wedding invitation and a few small projects, but it wouldn’t be fair to the clients to post any pics yet. So please come back and see what is new.
